	~Disney~ (Disney Scarlet Ginger aka: Hedychium Honduras Form) is considered one of the best selections of the Himalayan Hedychium coccineum. Hedychium ~Disney~ has wonderfully glaucous foliage with a reddish cast to the underside on a very tall 7' stem. At the top in late summer you will find brilliant, orange-red, delightfully fragrant flowers. Hedychium coccineum has flower bracts 8 - 10 inches and each individual rich orange colored flower is about one inch and are arranged in columns. Hedychium ~Disney~ stays very erect in part sun, unlike some of the other gingers.   This ginger are sturdy 3 - 5 ft tall erect plants that bloom in mid-late summer and multiply well. They can grow in full sun with plenty of moist mulch In the hottest heat of the day, they will wilt a little during the heat of the day. This ginger will have richer color if a little protected from the full sun. The new growth usually comes up with a bluish/purple color and the stems and back side of the leaves sometime have blushes of pink-wine through maturity.

It takes my wife and I, 2-3 days to pack items and get ready to ship. The whole next day we drive around the island and get inspected (2-3 hours), then drive to the Airport Post Office to drop off. It takes the same work with the same type item if you can understand.

LIVE PLANTS ARE PERISHABLE. For this reason uninsurable.         When you order a plant we assume you are prepared to care for it. Please have potting media and a container prepared for your plant before it arrives. Shipping can be stressful on a plant, and any mistakes that you make upon arrival can stress the plant further, which is not good. Proper care is critical upon arrival. It is your responsibility to know how to care for the plant. Not every plant that I order through the mail survives, and I am aware of that and accept the risk when I order. This is the risk that you as the buyer accept, because there is no way to know what kind of conditions it will endure in the trip to your door. My responsibility ends when a live plant is delivered to your door. Live arrival is guaranteed, eternal survival is up to you. Please Do NOT email me a week after potting your plant, and make a claim it arrived damaged. From delivery confirmation, you have only 48 hours from delivery confirmation to make any claim.
